Tell us about the first time you travelled alone. Where did you go and what did you do?
My first time solo is when I was 17th. But its not a grand Journey for me as it was around Indonesia and everything seems easy. But the most unforgetable moment is when I first solo traveling to overseas at my late 20th. I went to Thailand at my birthday then celebrate it with the strangers. I called it birthday escape.
So what are the love/hate things you experienced travelling alone?
I love to meet the locals, try local foods and go where the locals go. But I hate of being rip of by some people who take advantages from travelers.

What is your favorite websites and travel apps do you often use?
I always use couchsurfing wherever I go. Its not about the free stay, but more like cultural exchange for me, and also gathered with people from all over the worlds. Beside thet website, i use rome2rio often. Its very helpful to check the distance, the price, timing, and how to get from one place to another. And my favourite facebook group is ‘Backpacker Dunia’ where you can get information and tips about traveling from the expert.

What is your favorite country so far? Any recommendation for female solo traveler?
I like New Zealand for my most favourite country, and Oman at the second, then Japan at the third. I always suggest to check whats ‘Do’ and ‘Don’t’ in every place you plan to visit.
What are some important things you bring when travelling solo? (Beside money and passport?)
I always bring my menthol oil withe me, and of course chili sauce. So when I cant find a good food, just add chili sauce and everything will be ok.

My favourite place in Indonesia. Derawan Island
Everyone has their quirky thing when they travel. I love doing temple hunting and visiting museums. So what’s yours?
Am a nature lovers. But something that interest me more is traditional market, the place where I can find everything from what local’s sell.

What’s your favorite travel quote that’s best describe you?
Its your road and yours alone, others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.
Indri is definitely addicted to travel. Been to 60+ countries and always love to be on the road. She love to go wherever she want and take random destination. And she finally discover that she’s a total bad ass.
